Forest Spelling List Summer Learning
How to Import Our forest Spelling List
Our forest spelling list contains 20 forest-themed words, perfect for a trip to the forest or studying the forest for a class. Did you know that many people live near forests, and visiting is often free or low-cost? Visiting a forest helps you reconnect with nature, enjoy all the wonderful plants and animals, and get some exercise. Plus, kids love hiking in the forest because it's fun.
Many projects can be created from a visit to the forest to help solidify learning. Gather leaves, place them under paper, and make a charcoal print. Draw things you see while in the forest. Get a coloring book of birds and use it to help students learn the names of birds. Use clay to make woodland creatures or write a story with the forest as the theme. Grab some library books about ecosystems and how animals interact with nature. These activities are perfect for kids of all ages, including preschool and elementary students.
